Key findings

Short, attributable one-liners from the same live queries as the charts. Quote with the Cite this page block.

  1. This rebuild lists 360 13F managers with reported long US-equity value above $0. Each row is that filer's latest filing, not a synchronized quarter.
  2. The newest filing date in the table is Q4 2025. 65 of 360 filers (18.1%) have that date as their latest_quarter; the other 295 still show an earlier filing.
  3. Combined latest-filing reported long-equity value is $986.4B. That sum mixes quarters and is not AUM.
  4. Restricting to Q4 2025 filings only, 65 filers report $69.7B of long-equity value.
  5. Neuberger Berman Group LLC currently has the largest latest-filing reported value ($123.8B), from a Q2 2025 13F. Rank is listing order, not a performance score.
  6. Among stocks with 10 or more reporting holders, MICROSOFT CORP is the most widely held, with 44 institutions. Holder count is not a buy signal.
  7. The 10 largest latest-filing rows account for 67.4% of combined reported value in this rebuild (mixed vintages).
  8. 216 of 7,703 securities currently meet the 10-holder listing cutoff used on /stocks.

How these totals are computed

Every figure is a SQL aggregate against PlainFundData's local rebuild of SEC EDGAR Form 13F-HR filings. Filer counts use filers where total_value > 0. Combined value sums each manager's total_value at that row's latest_quarter. The newest-quarter slice restricts to latest_quarter = MAX(latest_quarter). The 10-holder stock listing uses securities.holder_count >= 10, the same cutoff as /stocks. No headline total is hand-typed.

A homepage review in 2026-07-20 found that labeling mixed-vintage latest filings as a single "as of" quarter made Neuberger Berman look like a current-quarter #1 when its latest row was older. This page keeps the listing order and prints the filing quarter on each bar. Full source handling lives on the methodology page.

Source: U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) - EDGAR Form 13F-HR institutional holdings filings · Q4 2025 All figures derive from quarterly 13F-HR filings (long US-listed equity positions of managers with $100M+ qualifying assets). Reported value is not total AUM. Latest-filing ranks mix quarters.

How to cite this rebuild

Quote the vintage mix. Do not treat combined latest-filing value as a single-quarter AUM figure.
